ALTHOUGH NO TWO OF THE ORIGINAL 100 "CALIFORNIA" FERRARI'S PRODUCED IN THE EARLY 1960s WERE ALIKE, DUE
TO THE MANY SMALL VARIATIONS, FERRARI STILL ATTEMPTED TO SUE THE ORIGINAL BLUE PRINTER OF THE REPLICA
BECAUSE IT WAS SO CLOSE TO THE ORIGINALS. HOWEVER, THE FIRST GENERATION REPLICA, INITIALLY KNOWN
AS THE "MODENA SPYDER", CARRIED NO FERRARI LOGO'S BUT BECAME AN IMMEDIATE HIT WITH ENTHUSIASTS.
